DJI Expands Portable Power Market with Launch of Power 2000 System
DJI has unveiled the Power 2000, a scalable portable power station offering up to 22kWh of expandable storage. The system, designed for mobility, charges in 75 minutes and switches to backup power in 0.01 seconds, catering to job sites, vanlife, and home backup needs during blackouts.
Priced starting at $1,299, the Power 2000 can scale to nearly $10,000 with full expansion. Unlike stationary solutions like Tesla's Powerwall, it features a 2048Wh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 3000W inverter, weighing just 22 kilograms for enhanced portability.
The launch builds on DJI's momentum in the portable energy sector following last year's Power 1000 release. The company hints at another upcoming product in its Power lineup, signaling deeper commitment to this market segment.
